SAVE MONEY HERE —>Ok, so I got bored with just saving money on food – and somewhere along the line I got involved in this doTERRA “stuff”. Since then, I’ve been making my own products for use around the house – saving HEAPS of money! You can do it too – you don’t have to use doTERRA, but do make sure you are only using quality ingredients for optimal results.
Well, it’s not really just “stuff” – it’s bloody fantastic STUFF!! And so I started looking at how I could use it more around the home. I hate using the chemicals all the time as I know every time we use them, we are also taking them into our bodies – plus they aren’t so good for the environment.
So this little corner is all about saving some of your hard earned $$$ around the home.

- shower gel
- foaming hand wash
Until you have a go at making your own, you will not realise just how much money you can save. In the lead up to making my own, I started hoarding those empty shower gel containers, pump containers and more. Now, when I make the next batch, I have heaps of storage containers available without buying more!
This is also a great way to make gifts for that hard to buy for person. And the best bit? It’s home made without all the unknown ingredients with strange chemical names.
If you are part of a small household, you could also team up with a friend or neighbour to make a batch – or of course, reduce the quantities proportionately to suit.
My own little joke when I make the shower gel? how much effort actually goes into creating so much – the most labour intensive part is grating the soap to start with!
